1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs the app Quill Keyboards & Fonts, developed by Prabhakar Panda ("we", "our", or "us"). We are deeply committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how our keyboard input method application functions and clarifies our data handling practices.

By using Quill Keyboards & Fonts, you agree to the terms described in this policy. Because your trust is paramount, our application is engineered with a strict Privacy-First, On-Device Architecture.

2. Keystroke Privacy & Input Data

When you enable a custom third-party keyboard on Android, the operating system presents a standard warning message stating that keyboards may collect typed text. This is a default Android system warning for all third-party keyboards. Rest assured:

• Local Text Transformation: Font transformations (e.g., Cursive, Gothic, Circles) and key label changes are computed in real-time strictly in your device's memory.
• On-Device Auto-Correct & Suggestions: Dictionary lookups, next-word prediction algorithms, and autocorrect logic operate locally without communicating with any remote server.
• Clipboard Manager: Clipboard snippets saved or accessed within the keyboard UI remain stored strictly on your local device storage.

3. App Permissions & Usage

Quill Keyboards & Fonts requests minimum runtime permissions only to enable specific features requested directly by you:

• Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively when you tap the Voice Input button to convert spoken voice to text. Voice recognition is processed using official Android Speech Recognition APIs or Google Voice services. Audio is never recorded or stored by our app.
• Storage / Media Access: Used only when you select a custom background image from your gallery in the Theme Editor to personalize your keyboard theme.
• Vibration / Haptic Feedback: Used to provide tactile haptic feedback during keypresses (can be toggled off in settings).

4. Data Storage & Preferences

All your customized settings—including selected active themes, custom theme creations, active font styles, keyboard height adjustments, key sound preferences, and custom dictionary words—are saved locally on your device using Android's secure DataStore / SharedPreferences API.

If you uninstall the application or clear app data via Android Settings, all locally saved themes and preferences will be permanently cleared from your device.

5. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Quill Keyboards & Fonts may integrate standard Google framework services to support core functionality and app stability:

• Google Play Services: Used for app updates, in-app purchases (if applicable), and licensing checks.
• Google Speech Services: Handles system voice-to-text input when voice dictation is triggered by the user.

We do not use third-party tracking networks, keystroke logging analytics, or intrusive adware SDKs.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is designed to be safe for users of all ages. Because we do not collect personal identification information from any user, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13.
